築100年の農家で知る山間を流れる水と大地の恵みのありがたさ At a 100-year-old farmhouse, learned about the value of water flowing through the mountains and the earth
ランチで入った道の駅で、日南町特産品のトマトジュースの濃さに感動。センスのいい木工品の工房を見学した後、宿泊する古民家へ。築100年以上の家屋の歴史背景の説明などを聞きながら一緒に夕食の支度を。宿泊は1名だけで、温かな人柄の宿主とゆっくり話せて交流を深めることができました。 He was impressed by the richness of the tomato juice, a specialty of Nichinan Town, at the roadside station for having lunch. After touring a factory that makes exquisite woodwork, we headed to an old folk house where he would stay overnight. Prepare for dinner while listening to an explanation of the historical background of the house, which was built over 100 years ago. Even though there was only one guest, he was able to talk a lot and deepen interactions with the host, who had a warm personality.
ツアー参加者はアメリカ・サンフランシスコ出身、同行は通訳ガイドだけの気楽な一人旅 The tourst was from San Francisco, USA, an easy-going solo trip accompanied by an interpreter guide.
「古民家かつみや」はTV等での紹介も多く、鳥取県の農家民泊の先駆者として知られる "Kominka Katsumiya" has been introduced on many TV programs and is known as a pioneer of farmhouse accommodation in Tottori.
体験内容 Activities
日南町内を視察。緑豊かな森林地帯で林業や木工、寒暖差を生かした農業が盛んに行われている Inspected various places in Nichinan Town. Woodworking and agriculture that take advantage of the temperature difference are flourishing in the lush forest area.
主食のごはんは本物のかまど焚き!手作りの甘い「おはぎ」も美味しかった The rice was cooked in a traditional Japanede oven! The homemade sweet“ohagi”was also delicious.
